These Are the Cosrx Products You Need

These Are the Cosrx Products You Need

When I first started my journey into skincare, especially Korean skincare, Cosrx was always one of the first brands that were on my radar. They’re known for their potent and effective ingredients. You may have seen their popular pimple patches once. Cosrx has built a cult following, not only in Korea but in the US too! You can find their products in Ulta, Sokoglam, Walmart and Korean beauty stores. Their products are fairly affordable, ranging from as low as $5 to $30.

Cosrx has minimalist packaging, highlighting their ingredients, drawing the consumer in on what they have to offer. Boy, do they deliver. My all-time favorite product from them is their Triple C Lightning Liquid (a Sokoglam exclusive). This was the only product that worked well enough to lighten my hyperpigmentation and acne scars, AND it didn’t dry out my face. I’m also an avid fan of the blackhead power liquid and pimple patches!

Cosrx has graciously gifted me the One Step Original Clear Pads, a few Acne Pimple Master Patches, and a few of their Clear Fit Master Patches!

One Step Original Clear Pads ($19 on Sokoglam, $20 on Ulta, $17 on Walmart)

Ingredients: Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betaine Salicylate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arginine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate

In contains willow bark water, which will gently exfoliate, revealing brighter skin. Betaine salicylate is a gentler version of salicylic acid. The acid helps with acne and blemishes and preventing breakouts.

How to use: After cleansing, swipe a pad evenly over your face and continue with the next step in your routine! You don’t need to rinse after a use.

CAUTION: If you have an allergy to aspirin, you will experience a reaction to betaine salicylate.

The pads are so thin and soft, it almost feels like a gently, physical exfoliator over your face. Each jar comes with 70 pads.
Pro tip: This can also be used on your chest or back or any area that’s prone to acne! (Even your butt.)

After a week of use, I can see and feel a major difference! My skin is brighter, smoother, and overall, I have less breakouts and inflammation! I’m using the pads immediately after cleansing as my toner in the mornings and night.

Taken in the same lighting and time of day. You can visibly see how much brighter and smoother my skin looks! My acne scars have also faded a bit too.

I unfortunately also have bacne and this has been a great help! I rub it all over my back, anywhere I can reach, really. My cystic pimples have flattened and the pads have helped preventing future breakouts.

Acne Pimple Master Patch ($5 on Sokoglam, $6 on Ulta, Urban Outfitters, Walmart)

Probably their most popular product! My holy grail product for those pesky little pimples. They work like magic every time. These are small hydrocolloid patches that you apply onto any visible pimple. It works very well on cystic acne, making them disappear overnight.

Ingredients: Cellulose gum, Styrene Isoprene Styrene Block Copolymer, Polysobutylene, Petroleum Resin, Polyurethane Film, Liquid Paraffin, Tetrakis Methane

How to use: Peel off a patch from the plastic and apply it onto a pimple! I like to apply it at night and let it work its magic, then peel it off in the morning. Once you peel it off, the whitehead will come off with it! That’s how you know it worked. (You can tell I’m a major fan of these by the amount I’ve used.)

Clear Fit Master Patch ($6 on Ulta, $5 on Walmart)

This is the same as the product above, but it’s a thinner, more discreet patch. I’d recommend this for people that want a last minute fix.

It’s discreet enough to be used in the morning and night.

Overall, Cosrx is an amazing brand that everyone should use! It’s perfect for even the most sensitive skin types. The Triple C Lightning Liquid is a holy grail, the Acne Pimple Master Patch is a long time staple of mine, and I don’t think I’ve found anything better. I’m a long time Cosrx fan and I don’t plan on leaving it any time soon!

Cosrx gifted me these products, but all opinions are my own. Thank you for reading & take care!  – xoxo, Annie.
