Having a skincare routine doesn't mean you have to break the bank. There are plenty of items tons of people swear by that are under $10 to $20.
Sometimes, certain products are all about the packaging, so items are priced at such a high mark up. I'm here to help you find dupes and cheaper products that won't hurt your wallet. Skincare is all about self love and feeling great in your skin, not seeing what items you can or can't afford!
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser (~$11)
My favorite cleanser that's no bs and gets the job done. This cleanser definitely gets the job done without stripping your face of natural oils. This consistency feels like the Glossier's Milky Jelly cleanser. What a dupe!
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (~$9.50)
A fan favorite! When I introduced my boyfriend to skincare, he wanted something that was low cost with decent quality. He has normal to dry skin and this cleanser worked like a charm on him.
Cosrx Low-pH Good Morning Cleanser ($11)
This is a great and gentle cleanser from Cosrx that has a low pH level so it won't dry out your skin. Perfect for sensitive to oily skin types.
Cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser ($11)
For all of my friends with acne out there, there is a cleanser just for you. It contains 0.5% salicylic acid to help get rid of all those blemishes. This also contains tea tree oil to help combat breakouts.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water (~$7)
A super gentle makeup remover for anyone that has extremely sensitive skin! This water does a great job at removing debris and impurities as well as breaking down makeup.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser ($9-18)
What can I say, I'm brand loyal, but Glossier really knows how to deliver. This is one of my favorite cleansers that really know how to break down makeup and grime! It's a staple in my bathroom, honestly.
Skinfood Black Sugar Wash-Off Face Mask ($10)
With shea butter for moisturizing and sugar for physical exfoliation, it also doubles as a mask!
Pixi Glow Tonic ($15)
Contains glycolic acid! Glycolic acid helps slough off dead skin cells while promoting new cell turnover. Perfect for achieving the smooth baby face and getting rid of breakouts.
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (~$9)
Good for oily skin. Also contains glycolic acid.
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% (~$7)
Lactic acid is awesome if you want to achieve brighter, smoother, softer skin. Also helps with clearing up blemishes.
Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid ($14)
I don't have many blackheads, but when I do, this works like a charm.
Missha Super Aqua Peeling Gel (~$13)
I love this peeling gel because it makes your skin really feel like is sloughing off dead skin while also cleaning out your pores.
Cosrx's Galactomyces Alcohol-Free Toner ($16)
Anything that's alcohol-free, I'm on board. Formulated for sensitive skin, it's great that there's no alcohol in this. It also contains hylauronic acid (my favorite acid) which gives your skin the ultimate moisture.
Etude House's Moistfull Collagen Facial Toner ($15)
A low maintenance, everyday regular toner that provides moisture and smooth skin.
Benton's Aloe BHA Skin Toner ($19)
I recommend this toner to everyone that doesn't want a crazy skincare routine. This has aloe vera and salicylic acid to help fight blemishes and give you clear, calm skin.
TREATMENTS (Essences, Serums, Ampoules):
Stridex Maximum Strength Acne Treatment Pads (~$4)
A holy grail for many, these treatment pads can really help remove stubborn acne while preventing new ones from forming. Cheap, yet effective.
Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch ($6)
For when you get that one terrible pimple that shows up during the most important times of your life. Slap on a pimple patch and watch that sucker dissolve before your eyes. I recommend to put one on before you sleep and let it do it's magic throughout the night!
Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($19)
Snail on your face for extra moisture. People rave about snail extract because IT WORKS. Great for dry skin types.
Scinic Honey All-In-One Ampoule (~$22)
Honey always helps troubled skin. If you have acne, redness, and seeking for calmness in your skin, this ampoule does the trick.
CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream ($14)
A gentle moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin.
Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM ($12)
This is like the night cream's cooler sister above. It's more for oily and combo skin. Perfect for the needed moisture without breaking your skin out at night.
Cosrx Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion ($20)
It contains birch sap that treats irritated, dry skin. Not to mention, it's oil free!
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 ($15)
A nice balm for dry skin. It's even suitable for babies, so for dry and sensitive types out there, this is for you.
I personally am very picky when it comes to eye care. I believe that this is the one part in your routine where you deserve to splurge! Here's my eye care list.
The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% w/ EGCG (~$7)
A good pick me up around the eyes so you look fresh and awake.
Manefit Natural Gift Green Tea Pore Care Sheet Mask ($5)
Of all the sheet masks I've tried, hydrogel masks are always a favorite. Super cooling and hydrating, at a good price, too.
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack ($12)
If you're too lazy to wash off your mask, sleep in it! Let your skin soak up all the moisture and repair itself overnight with a sleeping pack.
TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Egg Cream Mask Hydration ($6)
Eggs and coconut for the ultimate hydration.
Lush Cup O' Coffee Face Mask ($12-22)
This mask and I was a match made in heaven. Coffee grounds? Yes, please. Not only does it smell good, it's also a good pick-me-up for when you're feeling sluggish and down in the dumps.
Missha All Around Safe Block Sebum Zero Sun SPF 50+/PA+++ ($14)
The most PERFECT sunscreen for oily skin. It's amazing, I'm telling you. It gives me a nice matte look without weighing down my skin or giving it that heavy, oily feeling. Doesn't clog my pores either! An awesome bang for your buck.
Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50+ / PA+++ ($12)
This sunscreen provides great moisture while controlling oil and gives your skin a matte look and feel.
I really hope my list has helped you if you're looking for cheap, yet effective products. Now of course, you don't have to follow the 10 step routine and get one of everything on this list, I wanted to compile this for anyone that's looking for affordable products when taking care of their skin. Love the skin you're in and have fun with beauty!
There's something for everyone out there.
