Review: Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask

Review: Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask

How do I even begin to describe this mask? This is a mask for when you’ve had a long day at work. This is a mask for when you’re suffering with dull, flaky skin from the winter. This is a mask to un-clog your pores after a day of being outside. This is a mask that is perfect for a Sunday night pick me up to get you ready for the new week ahead. This is a mask for ALL skin types, even the most sensitive ones.

This mask is a GAME CHANGER.

Alicia Yoon, CEO and Founder of Peach & Lily, seriously did something right when concocting this mask.

Now what I’m going to say next might be a bit controversial, but this mask is seriously better than Sunday Riley’s Good Genes and Drunk Elephant’s Babyfacial. I have tried both and the Super Reboot gives me the same affect and glow. This mask has very similar ingredients (minus some in SR’s Good Genes) but at only a fraction of the price! The pro about this mask is that it leaves me much more hydrated than DE’s Babyfacial.

I purchased this at Ulta for $43. You can also buy it straight from the Peach & Lily website for the same price. The jar contains 80 ml/2.70 fl oz. This is really a bang for your buck.

I love the beautiful glass jar it’s in! It feels really durable and heavy. I’m definitely going to repurpose this jar once I’m done.

I’ve used this mask 3 times (over the span of a month) to make sure my skin really loved it and to see if it truly made a difference, and my god, it really did.

“Clogged pores, rough patches, bumps? This pro-level formula effectively and gently exfoliates, resurfaces and retexturizes skin. A potent blend of 10% AHA, 0.5% BHA, and blue agave unglues dead skin cells and “de-gunks” down to deep lining of pores. Meanwhile, hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica, chamomile, and aloe soothe and hydrate. The result, dramatically smoother texture with minimized appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Give your skin a total reboot.”

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycolic Acid, Sodium Citrate, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Agave Tequilana Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Chlorphenesin, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Curcuma Longa (Tumeric) Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glyceryl Caprylate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Panthenol, Pantolactone, Phenoxyethanol, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Salicylic Acid, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-10 Caprylate/Caprate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil

Highlighted above are some of my favorite ingredients. I love the fact that there is hyaluronic acid because some chemical masks/peels do dry my skin out. I’m able to use this mask during the winter because it actually softens and hydrates my skin instead of drying it out!

Let’s talk about texture. It literally looks like blue goo! It has a very slimy consistency but absorbs quickly into your skin. If you’ve used Glow Recipe’s watermelon mask, this mask also has the same texture. I like to stick this mask in the fridge for the ultimate cooling effect, it feels amazing on your face.

As for the scent, it smells like sea salt! The product looks and smells as if you were in front of an ocean.

I always enjoy the nice and convenient spatula these masks come with.

The moment it hits your skin, you can feel it tingle immediately! That’s the acids working for you. The tingling can be strong at times, but that’s just the mask doing its job.
Do make sure that it’s tingling your skin and not burning! The burning sensation means your skin is reacting and you might be allergic.

How To Use: “Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin and leave on for 15-20 min. Mild tingling is normal. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use up to 1-2 times per week. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Acids may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen daily while using this product and for a week after ceasing use (and of course, always SPF, anyway).”

Left is before! My face is absolutely bare with nothing on it. The only thing I did was jump straight out of bed and washed it with my face cleanser. Right is once applied. It’ll look like a thin, teal film on your face. I used about 4 dime sized scoops of the mask. One my forehead, both cheeks, and chin. I dispersed it around my face using my fingers.

This is once I washed it off after 20 minutes of the mask being on my face. My face literally feels like a baby’s butt! It genuinely looks so much brighter and feels so much smoother. My cheeks even have a hydrated bounce to it. The slight hyperpigmentation around my nose and mouth have also faded significantly. I’m just showing you what it’s like after one use! Imagine what it’ll do to your skin after consistent usage of it.

This mask will help with brightening your skin, clearing out your pores, promote cell turnover, and give your skin the ultimate hydration. It has both AHA and BHA, it’s basically a facial in a jar.

You can purchase it at the Peach & Lily website or at Ulta for $43. I hope this review helped you in your mask purchasing. Happy masking!
